Trail 1 : Piatra-Neamt - Bicaz Dam - Poiana Teiului - Durau Resort- Piatra Neamt
» Bicaz Dam (accumulation lake formed on Bistrita river, has a height of 127 m, 435 m long and 119 m wide. The lake is 40 km long, an area of 33 km2 and maximum volume of 1.250 millions m3. It is an attractive recreation area and boat rentals are available.
» Poiana Teiului (is a geological reservation, here there is an enormous limestone bloc which was formed through erosion).
» Durau Resort (is a recreation resort located near the Ceahlau Mountain).
Trail 2 : Piatra-Neamt - Horaita, Varatec and Agapia Monasteries - Neamt Fortress - Targu Neamt - Ion Creanga Memorial House in Humulesti - Piatra Neamt
» Horaita Monastery (situated 12 km from Piatra-Neamt, and was built in the year 1725).
» Agapia Monastery (situated 9 km from Targu Neamt, it was built in the following years 1642-1647. It wasn't built on a specific architectural style and the frescoes painted by Nicolae Grigorescu between the years 1858-1861 gives it a special value.
» Varatec Monastery (It was built in the years 1808-1812 on top of the old one and was painted in the year 1841. Architecturally the monastery represents and eclectic edifice with elements from the old Moldovan style and elements of foreign architecture that entered Moldova between the 18th and 19th Century).
» Neamt Fortress (It is located in the city of Targu Neamt and was built during the reign of Petru Musat in the 14th century.
» Ion Creanga Memorial House (It is located at 2 km from Targu Neamt and is the house in which Ion Creanga spent his childhood).
Trail 3 : Piatra-Neamt - Targu Neamt - Neamt, Secu and Sihastria Monasteries - Piatra Neamt
» Neamt Monastery ( It is located 16km from Targu Neamt and is one of the most important Romanian site. It was first mentioned in 1407. Here exists one of the oldest libraries in the country (over 600 years old) and a museum that presents the Romanian cultural activity throughout the centuries.
» Secu Monastery (It is located at 75 km from Piatra-Neamt, and was built by the noble Nestor Ureche, in the year 1602).
» Sihastria Monastery (It is located at 22 km from Targu Neamt, and it was built in 1655 by the great monk Atanasie together with his 7 apprentices).
Trail 4: Piatra-Neamt - Bistrita and Pangarati Monasteries - Bicaz Dam - Bicaz Gorges - Piatra Neamt
» Bistrita Monastery(It is located 10 km from Piatra-Neamt, and it was built in the year 1402 during the reign of Alexander the Good. This is also his resting place).
» Pangarati Monastery (It is located 15 km from Piatra-Neamt, and was built during the reign of Stephen the Great).
» Bicaz Dam (see the description at trail 1).» Bicaz Gorges (located 50 km from Piatra-Neamt, the Bicaz Gorges are part of the Bicaz Gorges - Hasmas National Park. It is one of the most beautiful natural monument in Romania).
Trail 5 : Piatra-Neamt - Varatec - Agapia - Ion Creanga Memorial House in Humulesti - Neamt Fortress - "Dragos Voda" Auroch Reservation
» Agapia Monastery (see the description at trail 2).» Varatec Monastery (see the description at trail 2).» Ion Creanga Memorial House (see the description at trail 2).» Neamt Fortress (see the description at trail 2).» "Dragos Voda" Auroch Reservation (it was opened in the year 1968. Besides aurochs there are deers, wolves, foxes, badgers, rabbits, bears and birds. There are 3 aurochs on a 4 hectare lot).
Trail 6 : Piatra-Neamt - Cuiejdel Lake - Neamt Fortress - Varatec Monastery - "Codrii de arama"(Copper Forest) - Piatra-Neamt
» Cuejdel lake (Located at 3km from Piatra-Neamt it was formed by successive landslides that started in 1978 until 1991 that blocked the river Cuejdel. It is the biggest natural dams in the country and it has an area of 12,2 hectares, it is 1km long, 102m wide and 7,44 m deep with the biggest depth being 16 m).

» "Codrii de arama" (Copper Forest) (They are located 30 km from Piatra Neamt, 1 km north of Varatec Monastery. It is a forest made up of ancient durmasts. The forest was a source of inspiration of the great Romanian poet Mihai Eminescu.
